Dr. Nicole Henderson
A Mooresville, NC native, Dr. Henderson is excited to be back home serving the community she grew up in. She attended NC State University, earning her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science with a concentration in Veterinary Bioscience. She continued at NC State for veterinary school, where she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.
During veterinary school, Dr. Henderson developed a special interest in ophthalmology and further fostered her love of learning through involvement in veterinary research. She then completed a small animal rotating internship at the University of Tennessee, allowing her to continue exploring her interests and expanding her veterinary knowledge.
After her years of education and training, Dr. Henderson is happy to have settled back in North Carolina with her family. When she isn’t caring for her patients, she loves hiking and all things outdoors—but she is just as happy spending a cozy movie night at home with her cats. 🐱🎬
